Today, internet is so much more than what I expected it to be when I 1st heard about it - a decade ago.
Yes, I did start using the net for being in touch with friends and family and an occasional search on google, to learn about a certain topic that I was writing a report on or just to be in sync with the latest fad (orkut, facebook etc.) but today, internet is more than just a status symbol which it once was for us Indians.
I would have probably never started with this page, had it not been for my Internship with one of the best known education portals in India StudyPlaces.com. I still don’t know if I can be categorized as an IT guy or not, but working with this company has opened my eyes to a whole new level of internet consciousness.
Internet is a mind boggling concept that can make most science fiction movies of the past look like actual estimates of the future events to come.
I personally use the net for so much. I can book my travel, check my mails (instantly), stay connected, find out information, buy/sell Stuff, save data, download files etc. etc. etc.
But there is one more facet of the internet that I feel, is still largely unexplored by me i.e., Blogging.
Today Everybody's blogging...
And I thought “Why?”
Nobody used to blog in the yester years, and people were happy and contented. The Stars were still stars, the news flowed flawlessly and the terrorists still managed to have a fluid network throughout the globe spreading violence and killing people without any trouble whatsoever.
(My parents never blogged, they hardly ever took on to E-mailing. In fact I remember them being content in receiving a birthday card a month late because it was flying in from overseas.)

Blogging is a science/art that I'm still discovering, have visited tons of blogs and tried to understand why we need to blog but none of them could deliver a satisfactory reply to my query, however I did manage to find the means of finding the answer to my query, and here’s what I did to find that answer…
